For Puppies and First Time Owners

First of all, welcome to the wonderful world of K9 companionship!  You may be feeling excited, nervous, a bit overwhelmed, or (if you are anything like I was at first) completely terrified by all the changes and unknowns about to come your way.  Caring for a dog is a big decision, and a big responsibility, but there is no need to get your tail in a fluster! 

This section of my website is dedicated to helping first time handlers and pup-parents transition to your new life together smoothly.  In the next few months I will be posting a series of “Pet Dog USA Survival Guides” which you will find listed on this page.  These guides are designed to answer all those little questions swirling around your head, set you up for success, and to hopefully spare you some of the mistakes I and many others have made.  Our sincere hope is to give you the information you need to be the best pup mom or dad you can be!
